On the back of the imp box, you may have noticed a small, red, recessed button. This button is used for completing the WiFi reset.
Start by opening the imp app and navigating to the "Devices" tab. Next, select "WiFi Network" and then tap "Reset WiFi." You can then follow the steps on the screen or read below to complete the WiFi setup.
1. Press the button on the back of the imp box. It can not be a quick press, but it can not be too long either. If you give it the ol' "One Mississippi" and then release, that should be enough time.
2. The lights on the imp should turn yellow. The app implies that the lights should be flashing, but sometimes they only go to yellow and do not flash. So long as you get yellow lights, tap the button on the bottom to proceed.
3. Select your WiFi network and enter your WiFi password. It should go back to the devices tab if it worked and the lights on the imp should change to Green or Blue within 1 minute.
That should get your imp back online. In the event that these steps do not work, please reach out to the imp support team by clicking "Submit a Request" on the top right of the page.
Please note holding the red reset button too long will result in all data being wiped from the imp box. This is typically a 10-second hold, so there should not be any issues with the above instructions.
